The Plan

In July of 2015 the extended Miller Clan (8 adults & 3 children, at this time) will venture to Scotland to enjoy a leisurely holiday.  With a little bit of luck we may have established our Scottish Roots, finding the Parents of Christopher Ballenger Miller (1809 - 1864, North Carolina).

The Falkirk Wheel joins two canal systems, lifting the canal boats 74 ft.

Our trip will start with all parties flying, from Atlanta, Las Vegas & DC, overnight, to London Heathrow.  

We will be in London for 3 days to recover from the jet lag and see London.  On day 3 we head to Glasgow, via train, after stopping off in Malvern for a tour of the Morgan Factory.

The next day we do the Falkirk Wheel.  After another night in Glasgow we start our train tour.
